What I absolutely Love

I am obsessed with capturing families, children, and newborns in a way that is artistic, romantic, real, and full of life. I know life can be crazy with kids… I have three crazies myself! Which is why I love preserving these precious moments that show the beauty of family. My kids and husband are my everything. I never want to lose sight of that.

The most important person in the photo to me is Mom. Usually, Mom is the one who is behind the camera on her phone, take pictures of her family. I want to make sure every mother can see her worth, beauty, and blessing she is to her family.

I'm all about the lovey dovey stuff

If you’re not afraid of a little (or more than a little!) PDA, and love emotive, passionate, and natural photographs of your family, we may be a good match! I’m all about love. I just love a good photo that gives you all the feels.

To me, photography isn’t just about getting a pretty photo. It is about nostalgia, passion, and bonding. That’s why you will see that my photos are more often focused on family members and couples looking at each other instead of at the camera.

I want every mom to see how she is a goddess to her family. I want dad to feel that he is his spouse and child’s whole world. I want every child to feel that they are cherished. These are the things that are so hard to capture on your phone as you hide behind your own camera or are trying to smile while you hold it out for a selfie. That is where I come in. I fall in love with every family who trusts me to capture them because I see the wonder and beauty of family connection and I can relate!

What can I offer you?

I know life is crazy busy with kids. Which is why I like making your experience with me fun and efficient. From inquiry to when you have your finished photos, the process will be easy, personal, professional, and fun!

Once you’ve booked with me, you will receive an email with a prep guide and a link to a Pinterest board with ideas on what to wear. I’ll also send you a fun questionnaire to help me get to know you a bit better.

We will also pick a location and you’ll get to hear about my tried-and-true magical spots here on the Island!

My shoots are fun and laid back and focus on connection and emotion.

I want you to feel comfortable and have fun during our session. I’m all about capturing your unique family connection. My goal is to take the stress and stiffness out of photography and really focus on what makes your family YOU! Most families are surprised at how much fun they have when we meet up. Living on Vancouver Island has its perks. One of many being that there are so many gorgeous spots to choose from for your in-home or outdoor photos.

You get to customize your own package

After your edited photos are ready, you can pick the package that fits your needs best. From a basic, 5 image package, to the full gallery! You will also be able to order prints, albums, canvases, and so much more. You will also receive black and white versions of all your photos. Keep in mind that these photographs tell a story about your life and family you may want to take home all these beautiful treasures!

You will have full printing rights to your chosen photos, but if you would like anything done in a professional photo lab, you can order those through me and I will make sure to provide you with premium quality prints.

I firmly believe that every human being has a story to tell. A story of connection, love, heartbreak, loss, joy, and struggle. But sometimes we forget to stop and appreciate what our life has given us and what we have been through.
