Every session I offer, from newborns and families to weddings and headshots, gathered in one place.
I’m Alyssa, a lifestyle photographer based in North Saanich on the Saanich Peninsula. I photograph families, mothers-to-be, brand-new babies, couples and professionals across Victoria and the Peninsula. Every session has the same heart: real connection, relaxed direction and photos that help you feel something when you look back at them.

Whichever session you choose, you’ll receive a prep guide, a Pinterest style board and a short questionnaire after booking. Your finished photos arrive in a private online gallery, and the digitals you choose come in full resolution with printing rights, so you can print them wherever and as big as you like.
Family, Maternity and Newborn Sessions
These are the sessions closest to my heart. I’m a mom of three, so I know how fast the little years go, and how often Mom is the one missing from the photos because she’s the one holding the phone. I want you in the frame, together.
Most of these sessions can happen outdoors at a beach, forest, field or garden, or in the comfort of your own home.
- Family photography: outdoor or in-home sessions full of play, cuddles and laughter, with immediate family included.
- Extended family and generations: grandparents, cousins and everyone together, with a small per-person add-on for extra guests.
- Maternity photography: about an hour outdoors or at home, with a client closet and hair and makeup referrals if you’d like them.
- Newborn photography: gentle in-home or outdoor sessions, ideally when your baby is 5 to 10 days old.
- Cake smash and first birthday: a playful, happily messy celebration of your baby’s first year.
- Mini sessions: shorter seasonal sessions, offered a few times a year.
Couples, Weddings and Celebrations
Love stories are one of my favourite things to photograph. I focus on the way you look at each other rather than on stiff poses, and I’ll guide you the whole way, so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands or where to look.
- Couples and engagement photos: for engagements, anniversaries or simply because.
- Proposal photography: quietly capturing the question and the happy moments right after.
- Wedding photography: natural, connection-focused photos of your whole day.
- Elopements and small weddings: intimate celebrations with just your closest people.
Portraits, Headshots and Branding
Sometimes a session is about one person. A graduating student, a teen, a grandparent who deserves a new photo on the wall, or a business owner who needs images that actually feel like them. Every image is individually retouched with true skin tones, so you still look like you.
- Portrait photography: individual, senior and family portraits with relaxed prompting instead of rigid posing.
- Professional headshots: clean, friendly images for your website, profile or team page.
- Personal branding: a fuller set of images that tells the story behind your business.

How do I choose the right session?
Start with what’s happening in your life right now: a pregnancy, a new baby, a first birthday or family visiting from out of town. If you’re still unsure, send me a note and we’ll talk it through during your free consultation.
Can sessions happen at home instead of outdoors?
Yes. Family, maternity and newborn sessions can all take place in your home or at an outdoor spot that suits you. In-home sessions are also a lovely option when the weather isn’t cooperating.
Where do you photograph?
I’m based in North Saanich and work across the Saanich Peninsula and Greater Victoria. A travel fee may apply for locations more than 25 km from North Saanich.
